Yep...done this a time or two. You blew the o-ring on the check valve out. Easy to fix.

The factory control panel. Generator is running(1/2 hour, no load). You can't tell from the pictures but the red run light is on and the back light in the gauge is glowing green. I replaced the hour meter with a temp gauge. Sensor is mounted on the head in the location illustrated in previous pictures. I can shut it down from here but cannot hook up the start untill I install an electric start on the ole CHAMP. (Stay tuned for that one...should be fun)

Here, I believe, is the reason I am limited to 16 amps. I will be replacing and reconfiguring the bottom of this install. The Black material by the fan blades was my attempt to reduce the distance between the edge of the blades and the wall of the duct. It helps...just not enough.

As long as I stay arround 16 amps or less my compartment stays arround 160 degrees. Seems not to matter much what the outside temp is..which is strange. If I try to pull over 16 amps then the temp seems to kind of go into a cascading type effect and continues to rise. I beleive I have a fix and will post it when I am done. Total load with the AC running is 13-14 amps as long as my Batt. are not too low. This temperature is measured on the cylinder head.

the genhead fan....Hmmmmm......
Maybe I'm approaching this all wrong.
The glass door thing is a cool idea though....

Very well put. The posts from the GM and Dodge guys put such a smile on my face. When they come out with a gasser that will run with the V-10 Modular..watch their stories change....

Well you better get ready to smile then. Dodge is coming out with a HEMI with alot more HP than the current versions. they also had a V-10 that would run with the Ford V-10. as for GM, well they still have the 8.1, I think? :h :B

I think this all comes down to personal choice. What ever works for you. Opinions are like $%%holes everybody has one. I went from a gas f-250 to a diesel f-350 drw. Like others have said, once you go diesel you won't go back. For me that is true, some others maybe not. IMO I would skip 3/4 ton and go right to 1 ton truck, more capacity(lbs.),towing etc. Gas vs. Diesel debate has and will go on for a long time.

What does 'other sat' mean? Is this a single lnb dish? Your settings are in your receiver by zip code, but only 20 miles from home it will be nearly identical to your home setting.
My home system has two dishes pointed in different directions. The second dish was added by my provider when I asked to pick up locals.
I am currently in my RV and tuned in to (pointed towards) the sat which gives me ESPN, Fox News and such. I need the locals to get the Nebraska VS. VT game tonight. Can,t get a strong enough signal over the antenna. So.....Can I just aim this dish to the "local channel" sat. to watch the game tonight?
Make sense?

Help me watch my football team
OK, I have direct TV with locals at home. There are two dishes.
I have a (one) dish for my RV and and camped 20 miles from home. Can I just tune in the dish to the other sat. to get the locals to watch the game. If so. How do I find the settings for the sat. with local channels? Any help would be appreciated.

Allis Chalmers worked on the fuel cell in the '50s. Theirs ran on LP. They built a tractor around it. It was said that when plowing a field one could hear the soil turning over. It produced water while running.

I'm sure the Ford will still be the tow king, but in actuality, one could tow a given trailer across the country with one, get into another and realize very little difference.
Jeez......I don't know...50 lbft of extra torque is quite a bit...

It's a fact that adding capacitors to an inductive circuit will bring the current and voltage into "Phase" thus reducing the speed of your meter.
Capacitor banks to do this are common in industry. I'm not sure it would be worth the time and money in a residential environment.
Someone do the math. Not sure I remember all the details in figuring power factor correction.
